Preview of Eagles and Vikings Alshon Jeffery vs Xavier Rhodes are among the main matches Game selection, remarkable statistics, much more
After naming himself at the University of Wisconsin, Edwards had a prominent profile in draft circles. As he was pushed open, the eagles considered it a priority to bring his fold.
Edwards had a strong training camp and excelled in the previous season. He earned a place on the Eagles' list of 53 men and has become a key member of the core team of special teams.
Edwards was a three-line lineman in Wisconsin who was rarely used on college special teams. His adaptation to the third stage of the game has made eagles a useful side.
Edwards: It's definitely different. When I came in, I had a good idea that it was going to be my role, just knowing who's here. I'm just trying to be the best special team player I can be right now.
Second Down: Special Team captain and starting lineup Kamu Grugier-Hill recently returned due to a knee injury. What energy does he bring to the conversation?
Edwards: He's a guy who bounces off walls all the time, so I think being around it is kind of contagious. He's the type who plays at high speed and makes decisions quickly, so I think he's making it easier for everyone around him because you know he's playing fast. Especially for special teams, it's huge.
Edwards: I rely on him a lot. I think after every play I take, I talk to him about what I saw and what he would do differently. He's a very knowledgeable man and all lineageers are, so I've just asked questions about them.
Edwards: I think that was kind of the biggest difference for me. I'm usually in a defense where I can analyze things, but in the case of special teams, things happen much faster. The first reading should be your best reading and you need to go play fast. This is something I've been working on since training camp, and I think I can do better, but I still have work to do.
This match will be reviewed on Sunday. Thielen is one of the most achieved wholesale recipients. Quarterback Church cousins target Thielen early and often, and Douglas must mitigate the damage, like the Eagles de facto top corner.
This is the size and size of the battle. Jeffery was not a breakthrough against the Jet in the fifth week, so he plans to recover with his great play against Rhodes. The Minnesota corner striker is talented and makes good use of his above-average size. Rhodes could be a problem for Jeffery at a US bank stadium.
The Eagles' offensive line is coming from two consecutive strong appearances. Johnson will be given the difficult task of stopping Hunter on Sunday. Johnson has played well against Hunter in the past and his performance is important to keep Carson Wentz clean.
5. Running back Jordan Howard has been a red zone force this season since he has given five landings. He has scored four times on the ground and once as a receiver. Howard has made four taps in the last two games.
Kicker Jake Elliott has made all of his field goal and extra point attempts in five games. He is five-5 in the knockout tests and 14-14 in the extra point tests.
Eagles have suddenly risen with improved running and finding speed. The Vikings managed to rebel against the giants in week 5, but the Eagles pose a multi-layered challenge to Mike Zimmer's defense. Philadelphia also has top-level defense, so Dalvin Cook could be there for his worst game of the year.
