From Gianni Rivera to Beppino Englaro: from 27th to 29th September, everyone in the square for the third edition of the Festival Il Diritto in Piazza - News - A window always open on Bitonto - DaBitonto
Gianni Rivera, Beppino Englaro, Michele Mirabella, Mons. Francesco Savino, Michele Emiliano, Francesco Schittulli. And with them, dozens of other guests including doctors, lawyers, politicians and show business personalities. They are the protagonists of the third edition of "The Right in the Square", the Festival organized by the Sapere Aude Study Center which this year will take place from 27 to 29 September in Bitonto with more appointments divided between Piazza Cavour and the Traetta Theater.
An event that quickly established itself as a reference for citizens "thirsty for law" and that this year will touch upon a complex and delicate subject such as the Right to Health through debates, theatrical performances, film screenings and musical events.
"Ours is the only festival of this type in Italy," explained Michele Coletti, president of the "Sapere Aude" Study Center, which organizes the event. "The prerequisite is to bring to the attention of the people fundamental social and legal issues. "We live in a time when our legislator is a master at not letting people understand the laws: the rules are contradictory, difficult to understand even for us in the industry. Nowadays people create convictions about fundamental issues with tools like posts on social networks, while events like this represent an effort to try to talk about complex topics with competence and simplicity: with this edition of the Festival Il Diritto in Piazza we complete the social trilogy: family, work and health, with events like this we say : do not touch the fundamental principles, the economy must be at their service, not the opposite ".
"There will also be contributions from students and students from the area: on Sunday morning we will have several students present to bring young people closer to the fundamental issues we will face. And this year Antonio Stornaiolo will also honor us with Vito Signorile who will be the protagonist of the closing show Più Shakespeare for everyone - said the lawyer Giovanni Brindicci -. I would like to thank the main sponsors, without them it would be difficult to create events like this. The support of the Bar Association of Bari is also fundamental, as is that of the other institutions involved, starting with the Puglia Regional Council ". & Nbsp;
"We will have so many witnesses on stage, including Gianni Rivera. And all this happens in civic places, like the theater and the square. The sense that comes out is precisely that of the community, explaining important topics in a clear and understandable way ”, concluded Giovanni Stefanì president of the Bar Association of Bari.
The event will be inaugurated on Friday 27th at 5.30pm in the Traetta Theater with the greetings of the President of the Sapere Aude Study Center Michele Coletti and the Mayor of Bitonto Michele Abbaticchio.
The Festival will close on Sunday 29 at 9.00 pm with the show "Più Shakespeare per tutti" with Antonio Stornaiolo and Vito Signorile and in the three days will see moments of reflection and entertainment with the screening of the film "Alla Salute" with Nick Difino (Friday 27, 20.30 ) and with the musical show "Le Scat Noir" (Saturday 28, 21.00).
