Athlete from Anapa won the bronze of the World Cup in Germany

On October 22, Anapa met her famous melee athlete. Nikolai Fedyanovich returned from Germany with the bronze medal of the World Cup in hand-to-hand combat.

In the arrivals hall of Anapa International Airport, the athlete’s relatives, his friends, and colleagues from the Children's Sports School No. 4 gathered. As soon as the familiar figure of the blonde giant appeared at the door, the people rushed towards the flowers, shouting "Kolka, well done!". It seemed to be even higher (from that August meeting when we met him with a gold medal from Kazakhstan). But he was embarrassed and blushed all the same. When asked by the correspondent of “AC” whether he was satisfied with the result, he briefly threw it: “Everything is fine!” Although, as the athlete’s father admitted, Andrei Fedyanovich, Nikolai is always determined only to win, so any other result except the first place upsets him.

And yet the World Cup bronze is awesome! After all, this world championship brought together more than 200 athletes from 26 countries in the German Leipzig. Our Nikolai played for the Russian team and the only one represented not only Anapa, but the whole Krasnodar Territory. And very worthily represented.

Here I must say that the 18-year-old athlete for the first time performed not in the junior, but in the adult category. As the coach of Nikolai Alexander Alexandrovich Talovsky said, Nikolai spent three fights. The first two, with athletes from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, for winning the final, he won. But the most serious opponent he got in the final. 26-year-old Togliatti Alexander Soldatkin is a professional fighter in mixed martial arts (MMA). However, in a duel with our athlete he did not have a clear advantage. Fedyanovich lost to Soldatkin on points. As a result, the third place in the weight category is over 90 kilograms.

Nikolai took first place in the absolute weight category and at the same time fulfilled the standard of the international class master of sports in hand-to-hand combat. The Russian team in the team competition also became the winner.

Tomorrow, April 28, the President’s speech was announced, during which he will announce whether the regime of self-isolation will be extended or not.
